The Dance Kingdom takes your privacy extremely seriously and takes all reasonable steps to ensure your information is secure.
- What information do we collect?
To comply with our Premises Licence, issued by Carmarthenshire County Council, we ask you for your name, age if under 18, address, telephone number (optional), name of parent or guardian and emergency contact telephone number if under 18, e-mail address (optional).
- Any physical or mental health information that you may wish to give us in relation to your special needs that may be affected by the activity of dance.
Why do we collect information?
Whenever you interact or communicate with us, we collect personal information. This information allows us to function and become more efficient. We may use this data to contact you by post, e-mail or telephone (including txt messages), to provide information and to advise you, in our legitimate interest because you, or your children, have an interest in dance and closely associated matters.
How long do we keep your information?
We keep personal information for different lengths of time dependent on the purpose. We want to ensure that such information is used appropriately to support our mutual interest in dance and associated activities. You can contact us at any time, preferably in writing, to ask us to remove or amend your personal information.
With whom do we share your personal information?
We may need to disclose your details, if officially required, to the police, regulatory bodies or legal advisers.
We may need to pass some personal details to a Corporate Member of the British Dance Council should it be necessary in connections relating to Medal (Assessments) Tests, Dance related Examinations, or some Dance Competition Entries.
We never sell or otherwise pass your personal data third parties, whether they be individuals or businesses, without first obtaining your permission in each, and every, individual case.
How your information is secure?
The security of your information is of utmost importance to us. We seek to use reasonable measures to protect your information as required by the law, in line with industry standards and in accordance with the Dance Kingdom policies. Sensitive data is held under strict security conditions. If you have any reason to believe that any personal information we hold is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.
Managing your communications from us.
You have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to make changes to how you hear from us, and to ask us to stop processing, or to remove your personal information.
